The other day I put Natalia's hair into two French braids (snacking on her animal crackers and watching Thomas definately helped her sit still) and when she woke up from her nap this was the result. She had also added the baby hairband she had found somewhere. Now doesn't that look take you back?! :oP
Her kinked locks reminded me of my 4th grade school picture! Gotta' love those hairstyles from the 80's! To think that I actually owned a crimping iron!

HA, I had a crimper, too!! Did yours have the interchangeable heads??? I could do big waves, small crimps, bigger crimps. ohboy. Hope that is one fad that doesn't circle back around!
When I was in third grade, I would always put my wet hair in braids at night so my hair was crimped in the morning. I always thought it was the coolest thing!!
I used to ask my mom to braid my hair just so I could get that effect the next day. SHe's a cutie.
Too cute! That definitely brought back memories. Of course I never owned a crimper, but I did borrow my cousin's once to crimp my hair. Let me tell you, I was stylin' for that one day. Good times.
She looks adorable!
Actually, I often put Destiny's freshly-washed hair into a braid overnight on Saturdays so that on Sundays she has a "bushy" pony tail.
I'm with everyone else. My mom used to french braid my hair to that effect as well. Love it!
Proud to say I never actually owned a crimper....I just had crimper envy.
