Every summer I've taken a few pictures of Natalia at my parent's house. This year I didn't get it done in time to catch the sunflowers and black-eyed susans in all their glory. But, I made an attempt to capture the kids on film last weekend.
The first thing I'll say is that it's much, MUCH harder when there's two. I know, I know...duh!
Natalia was sooooo much harder to get a good picture of because she would figet. I probably should have started off by having her sit in most shots. That would have helped to alleviate the funny stances and hand motions. Ah well. You learn as you go.
Adam was easy peasy! Aside from his poker face which cracked us up, (picture three adults doing gymnastics behind me to get him to smile) he would break into these ear-to-ear grins.
Here are a few of my favorites. Enjoy!

Beautiful! Last weekend we tried to get pictures of three...it was really hard. Hopefully I can choose a couple decent ones to post soon.
These are great though...your parents' home is beautiful. I like your new autumn/harvest header.
So cute! I love the one with Natalia by herself, that color looks great on her!
I just realized I need to give credit where it is due. About half of these pictures were taken at my parent's neighbor's house. So thanks Joel and Kari!
These are great! I know what you mean about trying to capture your older one on film. Hannah used to sit for such great pictures... now it is REALLY difficult! I love the pictures you got!
Great job! I took the girls for pictures about a month ago. I got some great individual shots, but it all broke down when trying to capture both of them happy at once.
The second one down of Natalia is just stunning! Did you do any color adjustment/sharpening with it? Just beautiful!
"Stunning" is the word I was going to use for Natalia's second picture. Wow. Love the color on her and how it goes well behind her. The grins looks so natural. Lovin' that camera, aren't you? Precious kidders.
Great pictures, even with squirmy kiddos! That's one of the reasons I've opted to take my kids' photos myself instead of paying a professional photographer to capture them in an unfamiliar setting. :)
These pictures are GREAT, Krista!!! Adam's hair makes him look so much older than Austin!
