My mom and dad have an old, wooden 9-paned window they've used to frame photos of my siblings and I in their kitchen for years. Now though, it will house pictures of the grandchildren.
AND, my living room frames are still sporting winter shots. Time to update.
Thus, Photo Shoot: Part 1.

I did get an identical shot to this next one where Natalia is looking straight at the camera, but I liked that I could see her eyes better in this one.

Since she moves alot in standing shots and tends to slouch when sitting, I'm going to have her lay down for some next time.
Adam is getting tougher and tougher to photograph. Any tips from you pros out there? I'm trying to think of some objects for him to hold that will add instead of take away from the photo.
We'll keep trying! :-)

Oh, they are so stinkin' adorable! Love that last one of Adam! Have you tried using building blocks? Ask him to stack them as high as possible w/o knocking them over. (Bribe w/ treat if knocking them over seems more fun than making them stay put.)
I enjoyed watching my kids "work" at building .Ben always stuck his tongue out a little . Stay ready w/ camera when blocks fall over. Cute expressions of "yay!" or "oh no!" Good luck. I thought of you today while driving past cornrows and meadows in PA:)_
Have you tried a "classic" toy- like an old wooden one or one from your childhood? I liked the apples, they were a good idea. When we did Trey's 18 mo photos the photographer gave him a real baseball to hold which looked cute, but then he kept throwing it...
I love the picture of them walking!!!
I think wooden toys are a great idea like zz and Courtney!
