Yesterday afternoon we had them all to ourselves! The kids were soooo excited...and I was too, of course!
Ryan and Sarah usually visit twice a year from California, and since they miss spending Christmas and birthdays with their nephews and nieces, they bring fun gifts when they visit. This time they brought a beautiful Melissa & Doug stable with lots of horses and accessories. Natalia and Adam have been fighting over enjoying everything every waking moment since. :-)
They would be doing the same even if they had received separate gifts! *sigh* These lessons in sharing are so hard, but will yield good things!Adam just told Uncle Ryan, "you're my best friend!" Melt.
Later that evening the whole family got together for dinner at Mom and Dad's. And so of course we had to attempt a family picture! Not sure which one to label as our "normal" one...I'll let you choose! :-)
And these two--oh my! I think we will have to chronicle the Adventures of Adam and Eli, because these boys are as thick as thieves! With enough crazy energy, mischief, and cuteness to equal a truly dangerous duo! Lord, have mercy.

What a heart-warming post! "The Chronicles of Adam and Eli"!!!! Too funny!! Adam's sweet words to Ryan reminded me of Austin's love for Jeremy. Lori said one night when she was putting him do bed, he just, out of the blue, said in a wistful voice, "Uncle Jeremy."
I do believe that the second family shot is probably more normal. At least for our gang it would be!
