I had my usual "haircut props" handy--well, it's basically one prop.
A Dum Dum lollipop.
Usually it provides enough licks to last through a kiddos haircut. It usually helps to distract them enough to sit still while I do my thing.
I guess my girlie is determined to prove me wrong at every turn...so very wrong. HA HA
The Before:
2 minutes in, the lollipop was gone! AHHHH!
The After:
I just wanted to even out the back. I still don't know if I accomplished that or not! We'll see.

Wow, I'm impressed that you even attempt to do the haircut yourself! The end result looks good to me...
I always use lollipops too! It gets kinda gross with Tim's hair though, b/c with the clippers, there are little hairs flying everywhere!
Look at that cute face!
She has such thick, beautiful hair. I thought Adeline's would be thick, but it seems to be rather thin and frizzy at this point. ;o( I think it is because she twirls it A LOT when she is tired. Oh well, we'll keep her. ;o)
Meghan has had 2 haircuts...same as my 5 month son! The tv helps for Meghan, but a baby is a baby...it's tough! I might need to try a lollipop next time!
