I am blessed to come from a very creative and inventive family. Designers, craft and tradesman, artists, writers, musicians, teachers...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I already introduced you to my younger cousin Lindsey. She amazes me with her watercolor pieces. If you haven't checked her out yet go here.
My cousin Janell designs and sews her one-of-a kind purses and bags. Check out her "indie + a little swagger" creations at jalmodovar.
My youngest brother Ryan just recently completed a set of acrylic paintings for our bedroom. In addition to his artwork he works as a jewelry maker/designer. I don't know how he does it...when I draw, I mostly reproduce what someone else comes up with.
And my other younger brother Joe is very gifted with his hands as well. He's technically a mechanical engineer, but has finally been able to combine his love for design with his woodworking talents to make guitars.
Please take a moment to check out Joe's website at Stauffer Guitars to see the beautiful guitars he's made. Those of you that play guitar will find a link there to my cousin Anthony's website, StevieSnacks. He offers free previews of lessons and loads of practical help for the aspiring musician. (He and Joe just co-designed Anthony's newest guitar.)
Enjoy!
Very cool! Ethan and I enjoyed looking at Joe's guitars, and reading about how he makes them. Just incredible!
I don't know much about guitars, but the ones Joe makes look pretty impressive!
