Take 5 Tuesday

Today's question:

What are 5 of your favorite HEALTHY snacks?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My 5 in random order:
1. Snyder's of Hanover MULTIGRAIN White Cheddar Cheese Puffs
2. Seedless watermelon (I can hardly wait till it's in season!)
3. Red seedless grapes, great when frozen too!
4. Baby carrots and celery with peanut butter
5. Vanilla yogurt with slivered almonds or fruit mixed in
love your new header.
b/c I'm a "foodie" and love healthy snacks, too, I'll give my top 5.
1. whole wheat, pnut butter, choc.chip cookies (if you want the recipe, I'll make sure you get it)
2.McDonald's yogurt parfait (AND, mind you, probably the only thing I like from McD's)
3. Almonds and choc. chips (a 1 almond/4 choc.chip ratio) Half healthy. :)
4. banana and peanut butter from a spoon..this is such a standard grab and go "meal" for me if I'm low on blood sugar and have to run.
5. granola bars..another one of those grab and go's for me. :)
Does ice cream count?...it's dairy....no...okay...
1. apple with peanut butter
2. string cheese
3. fresh fruit (I'm with you on the watermelon and grapes. I also love to snack on berries (there is an amish store close to Fairland Elem where I would buy 20 lbs of blueberries every year for $25. That is an AMAZING price for blueberries! I loved having them in my freezer all year. One year I even bought two boxes! They are even better than grapes frozen)
4. almonds
5. pretzels (Snyders "splits" or "snaps") not healthy, but not NOT healthy either...
